Place to plop down suggestions for the site as we work on it. I realize that’ll be cleared out once the site is refreshed for the public, but that’s fine I think.

I think you should be able to forward/embed posts from other pages. For example I was gonna try to embed [Tims suggestion in the other thread](https://www.zcland.net/t/my-french-hole/389/12) but I can’t find a satisfactory way to do that. At least on mobile lol.

Also when I copied the link, in full, it looks like:

```auto
https://www.zcland.net/t/my-french-hole/389/12?u=ayden
```

I wonder what the `?u=ayden` is doing here. Hopefully that doesn’t just let you log in as someone else.

Maybe regular users should have the ability to move which subforum a thread of theirs is in. I don’t see what the downside would be.

- That metadata being appended to shared links is yet another awkward Discourse default. I’ll get rid of it.
- what would you want an embedded post to actually look like? Like a forum link that renders with a page preview? A specific post’s contents being rendered in the thread? How does pure handle such a thing today?

I think it should be a preview of the whole box containing the post basically. I don’t recall offhand how it works there, but regardless I think this would be a QOL upgrade Here.
